India is a country in Southern Asia. India has 15,106.7 km of land border and a coastline of 7,516.6 km including island territories. India is the seventh largest country in the world after Russia, Canada, China, US, Brazil and Australia. It shares border with Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan , Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
According to World Bank Report of 2011, Indian economy is at tenth position according to nominal GDP(adjusted GDP) and third largest according to PPP.
In Politics of India, there are 7 recognised national parties and more than 45 regional parties. Currently the main two national parties are Congress and Bjp. Currently the government is of alliance of Congress – UPA. There are mainly three alliances in Politics of India. They are : UPA, NDA and Third Front.
